Introduction

The first edition of the International Conference on Chemical Sciences (ICCS 2022) was successfully organized by the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) from December 9-11, 2022. The conference welcomed more than 100 participants from Japan, China, Korea, USA, Singapore, and Vietnam.

This year, the second edition ICCS 2024 will be organized by USTH from August 28 to August 30, 2024 in Ninh Binh, Vietnam. The conference is expected to bring about 200 Vietnamese and international chemists together to share on the most updated progresses in chemical sciences and to discuss about potential collaboration.

The theme of ICCS 2024 has been decided to be: Chemical Sciences – For A Better Life. We look forward to have a fruitful discussion on how chemical sciences could address the current challenges of our society and how recent progresses could contribute to build a safer, more sustainable, and happier life.

The following topics will be discussed (but not limited to):

# Chemistry for energy conversion and storage;

# Chemistry for environment analysis and treatment;

# Chemistry for healthcare

# Chemistry of natural products

# Chemistry for circular economy (waste treatment, recycling materials, etc.)
